Ms. Maybelle is an awesome teacher!
One year ago, that was my first ballet class, but she always taught me with patience. In fact, it is an 'impossible mission'! I am 62 years old and have zero ballet skills at all, but my dear teacher always explains the complex dance steps and esoteric ballet spirit through easy and humorous methods to make ourselves become better not only on dance, but on many... Her ballet lessons every Saturday always leaves me happy for whole day!
Thank you, our beloved teacher, Ms. Maybelle! Because of you, add one more reason to love ballet!

It was such a pleasure to hear her counting me through pliés, tendus, and relevés again. As always, her patience and cheerful disposition never lets even the least experienced student feel left out.

Taking classes under Maybelle has taught me so much. Her style of class allows so much space to experiment and further understand our bodies, but at the same time I learned loads of basic contemporary floorwork too. Not only have I learned how to move with the ever-changing rhythm in dance, but feel the flow and beauty of every movement done. The pace of the class was easy to follow, but the lessons were just as impactful and I left every class learning something new. Her class has taught me the essence of flow and the myriad of ways the body can move. Thank you Maybelle!

Maybelle is very knowledgeable and provides really insightful guidance, corrections and technique discussions, which I simply love as a dance nerd. She takes great care in planning sessions that continue to challenge me whilst being mindful of my injuries and limitations. A firm but gentle taskmaster who's never lacking in kind words when I'm being hard on myself, Maybelle is a true gem whom I'm very lucky to learn from.
Maybelle has helped me reignite my love for dance. She has this special way of teaching that inspires, nurtures and empowers all at once. She is hands down one of the best teachers I've met - period - and I dearly wish that I had someone like her as a dance teacher when I was a child. Even so, as an adult student. I still manage to feel a childlike wonder for dance in every one of Maybelle's classes. I've grown infinitely as a dancer and person!
